MARRIAGE NOTES: This appears to be Edward E. Bratcher's first marriage. Edward and his second wife, Mallie Ann Kefauver, are buried under the same stone, and they passed on many years after Cordelia departed.

It also appears that Cova Bratcher was Edward and Cordelia's first child. Cova was born in 1887, so I have posited that this marriage occurred before Cova's year of birth.

Burial Notes: Cordelia's stone has cracked and been repaired. The crack runs directly through the middle of her date of death, although I am almost 100% certain that her date of death is December 25, 1889.

Cordelia Bratcher died on December 25, 1889. Next to her in Kefauver Cemetery is Coleman J. Bratcher, son of E.E. & C. Bratcher. It would seem that E.E. and Cordelia were the parents of Coleman J, who was born on December 22, 1889. It appears then that Cordelia died on Christmas Day, 1889, three days after giving birth to Coleman J., who went on to live for only about six months.
