Dorothy Harrison Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home Colonial Gardens
Graveside services for Dorothy Harrison, 83, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Little Chapel by the Lake, with Rev. Jim Rust officiating. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harrison died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, in Jefferson. She was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Marshall, the daughter of William C. Williams Sr. and Annie Viola Hazelip Williams.
She married Richard E. Sharp and later married Charlie Lee Harrison. She worked as a waitress at Gables Restaurant in Marshall and attended Hall Baptist Church in Jefferson.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Harrell of Atoka, Okla., Sue and Lyle Ginn of Trumbull, Neb., Kathy and John Sullivan of Marshall, Lynette and Lynn Morris of Jefferson, Tessie Sanchez, Marjean Harrison, and Elaine and Mack Powell, all of Longview; one brother W. C. Williams of Marshall; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Harrison, Kevin Sharp, Rick Parson, Patrick Pearson, Roger Smith, Taylor Smith and Brad Sharp.
In lieu of flowers, the family's choice of charity would be Hall Baptist Church, c/o Rev. Jim Rust, 1403 W. Pinecrest Drive, Marshall, 75670 or Hospice of East Texas, 110 S. Bolivar St., Suite 214, Marshall, 75670.
