This information comes from ancestry.com, where there is an index of a Birth Certificate for Pauline French, which shows her mother as Rose French. Rose passed away in 1918, and this Pauline was born in 1917. I am not sure if this is the correct person, but it does seem to fit. The Birth Certificate for this Pauline is Vol. Yr. 1917, Vol. 90, Certificate No. 44568.
UPDATE: Given that this Pauline is buried right next to Rose Bell Vincent French, I am now satisfied that this was, in fact, Rose's daughter.

The tombstone is made from concrete, and a number of shells are pressed into its surface. The shape of a dove is impressed into its surface as well.

Some have suggested Pauline French, daughter of Rose Bell Vincent and Charlie French, committed suicide when she was approximately 14 or 15, but the timing of that incident and Rose’s death in 1918 makes it unlikely. (Oral History Note 20.) UPDATE: In reviewing some videotape of a conversation with Lasty Jane Vincent from August 2008, I discovered that Pauline committed suicide well after Rose passed away. Lasty said that she had a dream about Pauline the night before she passed away. She said she and Pauline were flying down around Bear Creek.
According to Lasty, Charlie was out tending to the fields, and, when he came back to the house, he discovered that Pauline had placed a shotgun to her chest and pulled the trigger. She was near the fireplace.
Other accounts say that Pauline killed herself on a Sunday, with the shotgun, but go on to say that she had fixed the family supper and her family discovered her death after they came home from church. This version also adds that Pauline's arm had fallen into the fire and was burned away by the time her family found her.
