MARRIAGE NOTES: The 1880 US Census states that Thomas and Delilah were married "within the census year," which would mean between May 1879 and June 1880. There is a family letter which refers to Thomas and Delilah as being married, and that letter is dated in November 1879. From this, we can say that Thomas and Delilah were married between May 31, 1879 and November 1879.

Note that he his living in a boarding house or tenement of some sort, as there are multiple families in the same building.

Letter from Lark Kebbell to his father Thomas Kebbell, Jr.
I found this document among Grace Kebbell's family history records. It is a short letter from Larkin Kebbell to his father Thomas Kebbell (b. 1854), while Larkin was in Centralia, Ill. Larkin worked for (and was killed on) the railroad, and I imagine he was in Centralia doing his job as a signal maintainer.
