Cause of Death: Tuberculosis (and Pneumonia)
Death Notes: Edna has two Death Certificates. One shows tuberculosis and pneumonia as the cause of death, while the second shows that she had "lobar pneumonia and acute [illegible] heart" for one day and, as a contributory cause, typhoid fever for two months and ten days. One states that she died at 1:00 p.m., and the second states that she died at 11:00 a.m. The second one also lists her as a widow, while the first is silent on her marital status.

I tend to think that she died from typhoid fever because two of her children had died of it within one month or so before she passed on.

It appears that many members of this family died in a relatively short timeframe from Typhoid Fever. A son, Lonnie, died on April 1. He was only a few days old. His father and the head of the household, Jason Marion, died on April 4, 1921, at 53 or so years old. His wife, Edna Davis, died on May 18, 1921, in her late thirties. Jason and Edna's daughter, Lula (or Eulah), died on May 22, 1921, at about 12 years old.

From a transcription of a cemetery visit on May 28, 2011:

Now if you go back and look at that, Deb, you’ll see something interesting. The last four names I’ve given you have all died in 1921. What it is is that the J.M. Seabolt and the Edna Seabolt are the Mom and Dad and the Lonard and the Lulie were kids and they all died of Typhoid Fever within about three months of each other. The son died on April 1st and the Dad died on April 4th, the Mom died on May 18th, and the daughter died on May 22nd. I remember when I found their death certificates I was looking around and saying something looks weird about this and then I realized that, wow, they all died in 1921 and I started looking and they all died of Typhoid Fever.
