BROWNSVILLE — Gladys Hazelip South, 70, of Louisville died Aug. 27, 2004, at Georgetown Manor in Louisville. The Grayson County native was a homemaker and a member of Sunny Point General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Roy M. Hazelip and Bonnie Hazelip. Funeral will be noon Monday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel, with burial at South Union Cemetery in Sunfish. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, James South; two daughters, Deborah Ann Roby and her husband, Jim, and Rhonda Kim Hunter and her husband, Bill, all of Louisville; a son, Patrick N. South of Louisville; three sisters, Dorothy Nash of Shrewsbury, Faye Jennings of Morgantown and Victoria Bratcher of Shepherdsville; two brothers, Haskell Hazelip of Morgantown and Rex Hazelip of Franklin; and three grandchildren, Dustin James Roby, Nicholas Cole Roby and Travis Ford Roby.
