Verbal Frances Huff

Verbal Frances Huff, age 82, of Caneyville, Ky., died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born in Caneyville March 23, 1922 as the daughter of the late Joseph Clinton and Cora Ellen Dennison Bratcher. She was a housewife and a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha Payton and Barbara Gardner, both of Caneyville; two sons, Marion W. Huff of Louisville and Ambers Ray Huff of Millwood. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Rev. Alton Brooks and Rev. Bernard Skaggs officiating.

Interment was in the Deweese Cemetery.

This is the house where Joseph Clinton Bratcher passed away. We are not exactly sure if this is exactly where it is, but it is within 150 feet of here one way or the other. The house belonged to Uncle Ambers and Aunt Verbal.
