Birth Notes: I am presuming that Dona was born at M. Y. Vincent's home on Little Mountain Road, although I am not certain of this. I intend to search the real estate records at some point to determine when he moved into that home.

Death Notes: Dona has two different Death Certificates. On the first, the cause of death is listed as Tuberculosis Pulmonary. On the second, it is listed as some form of infection. (It is somewhat illegible.) The first one states that she died on April 28, 1936, at 6:00 p.m. The second one states that she died on April 29, 1936, at what appears to be 7:00 a.m. Finally, the first certificate states that she lived (and died) near Millwood in Grayson Co., KY, while the second one states that she lived (and died) near Black Rock, in Grayson Co., KY. The Informant for the first certificate was her husband, Edgar Sanders. On the second one, the Informant is L.W. Sanders, which may have been her father-in-law. For the sake of argument, I have presumed that the first Death Certificate is the most accurate. The first Death Certificate is number 18748, and it has a filed date of July 31, 1936. The second one, listed as a duplicate, is 16050, and it has a filed date of April 30, 1936. Her attending physician was Dr. Sherman.

Lewis [Louis] W. Sanders Farm. This is a general area. He had a farm here back in the 1920’s.
Coordinates are N 37.32590 W 86.20291. According to Edgar Jr., Lewis’ house might have been about 200 feet or so from this grid coordinate, although it is an approximation.

Dona Vincent Sanders boarded with Lewis and Georgia Ann when she was a Teacher at Long Fall School on the east side of what was then Nolin River. Lewis owned about 150 acres and sold it in 1926 for $2,500 (and Edgar Jr. thinks that is a crying shame) to his son-in-law, Lawrence Hicks, who married Edgar’s Aunt Effie. This place is also where Dona met Edgar, while Dona was boarding at Georgia Ann and Lewis’ place.

The person shown as Ova (or maybe Ora) Vincent would seem to be my grandmother Bonnie Lillian Vincent. I've never heard of anyone in that family named Ova or Ora, and, of course, Bonnie is not listed (even though should would have been five years old at the time of this census).
